today i:
- had a filling (BOO)
- took my dads car into repairs
- bought stranger than fiction on dvd finally
- watched it
- made quiche, pastry and all FROM SCRATCH
- caught up in all my uni reading
- finally put daft punk's discovery on my sweetPod
- missed some friend
- spoke to mums in england
- got real excited about megan coming home in 10 days
- got real excited about me going in 15 days

oh so prouctive. when i get back from england, i want to have a bbq/dinner and see all ma friends who i haven't seen in one million years. i'm talking to YOU, guiltyschu and lifeuncommon.

also, it just occured ot me that most lj peeps probably don't know i'm now doing a BA at UQ, majoring in contemporary music studies. it's the best. srsly.

OK. i'm in england from september 20 - october 11th, but from september 25th - 28th, i'll be in paris. how does that match up with your dates????

it has been a very very long time!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm only going to england for three weeks, just to see sick grandfather (see above for dates), but i'm spending every minute working or studying, so no free time until i get back, but SRSLY big catchup times then. fo' real. your exchange isn't til next year is it?

Atonement made me cry srsly hard too. It's such a fucked up ending.

BTW, I'm here RIGHT IN TIME for the Toronto Film Festival, where such films as Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Rendition are being premiered. Tickets are completely sold out for both of those though, which bites ASS. I'll see if it's possible to get tickets still sometime today and I will LET YOU KNOW!

Congrats on the Beyond Rock thing. At the risk of making a bad pun: you ROCK!

oi, we all know i love a bad pun, especially if it involves the word rock. turns out it was a good time to go to toronto, you crazy slicker. get two sweet tickets if you can, and just pretend i'm there. i think you'll find the experience improved by my almost presence.

and omg, i almost didn't understand the ending, i thought that it was in the book that she killed them off, and in real life they survived. but then i read the last part again. and oh no. the anguish. damn you, briony!

how goes uni so far? have classes started yet??

Are you going to see Daft punk when they come to brisbane? Tickets come out v. soon! If you make mini quiches, you can use cut slices of bread as the bases and put in it a muffin pan. It works well. How long are you going away for?
